At La Baule, two more races were held accomplished by the Race Officer Mathieu MAUDET, this time in a lighter condition with winds from North Northeast with 8-10 knots of wind with occasionally 12 knots and despite now 5 different countries take the top 5 positions, the leaders: Defending champion team HH NOR 131 with Nergaard, Barne and Mathisen and team Process Solutions HUN 11 Litkey, Vezer and Wossala are sparkling with their performances each one taking a bullet and a second place for this third racing day, causing their take of at the scoreboard.
The podium changed once more, now with the local hero FRA 168 Bouet, Du Reau and Chtounder ahead of CAN 225 with Hall, Parekh and Joo, the first one having a not so good first race with an 8th but then a third to complete the day and the Canadians with a 9th and then a 12th that became their discard.

It was team Star Sails NED 44 with Soethoudt, Schellen and Lidlow who had a great day finishing third at the first race and then a 5th on the second one jumping into 5th overall ahead eternal rival NED 33 with den Outer, Souli and Knape. The driven force of these two teams open a door to the third best team of the Netherlands currently NED 49 van Veen, Marietje and Durk Dyjkstra to fight for the Rien Segaar Trophy, bein only a total of 15 points behind the best third French boat. FRA 196 with Pecha, Mouille and Gerard winning the trophy at moment also have to face the battle of FRA 188 with Xavier Denis , Stephanie Brenon and Manach only 7 points behind but also ahead of NED 49. It is worthy to note that the points are the sum of the points for the three best teams of each country and the prize is awarded only to the third team. Reason the winner depends on performance of itself but also from country partners and therefore NED 37 has also his chance to grab the RST and keep it in the Netherlands.

Interesting to see that amongst two of these teams NED 49 and FRA 188 both also are disputing for the Reloeaded Trophy for the best placed woman at the Europeans, right now Stephanie savoring the two point lead over its competitor.

Two more races are schedule for tomorrow and announced while sailors are enjoying the afternoon in a cloudy day in La Baule, and a happy birthday being celebrated at FRA 188 (Francois, Xavier Denis).
