This 4th of July, the Warnemunde woche OA started early their duties to inspect all Solings before the first race starts on Wednesday.
The small but high quality of racers arrived at the Hohe Dune marina where all installations are set. Around 1430hs all teams had their sails inspected, some had to measure new ones. Just a few boats had special inspections since majority of the competitors applied their ByPass measurement obtained in 2022 either during the 2022 Worlds or the Europeans held in Attersee.

9 different countries will be competing at this continental event and it will include former Olympians at the class in the past. Since in Norway the fleet keeps growing mainly focused in the World Championship to be held one year from now in Hanko.

The first problem arose in the morning when crane where not working, something managed to be fixed by the OA and first boats went to the water after lunch time.
Tonight, the event will host its first social dinner at 1900hs at the Locksshopeen, and sailors from all classes at the event will take part in it. The place is located near the train station.

The weather forecast expects nice winds, for moments strong but going down over the weekend. On Wednesday morning some rain also is expected.

The first start is scheduled for 12hs on July 5th, and before a skipper` meeting will be held at 0930hs on the Hohe Du
