Two races in a beautiful day with Brazilian taste

The wind as forecasted was a southerly light breeze that by moments topped the 12 knots, with a blue sky and typical summer temperatures for the fjords welcomed the 11 nations competing for the 2024 Soling Worlds being held at Hanko and island amongst many at the Norwegian fjords close to Oslo.

Each one of the Brazilian teams taking part at the World Championship had its bullet today, showing their commitment to the class, the training and time spent not only by the teams but also their club that promotes sailing in all aspects and have the Soling as the one that their members should excel.

The first bullet went to BRA 78 sailed by Nelson Ilha/Manfredo Floricke/Leonardo Mayhofer they were followed by NOR 156 sailed by Anders O. Pedersen/Alexander Ringstad/Kejll Inge Heiberg and in third NOR 157 team Gran Seil with Terje Wang/Odd Godager/Svei Sorensen.

The second race the bullet went to BRA 73 Squadrias team Kadu Bergenthal/Vilnei Goldmeier/Edgar Oppitz they were followed by NOR 157 and then by HUN 11 Process Solutions team with Farkas Litkey/Karoly Vezer/Kristoff Wossala.

The overall day ended in hands of NOR 157 team Gran Seil showing the caliper of the Norwegian fleet; Terje being one of the sailors of excellence here sailing at Hanko holding the 1985 European Championship title of the Soling Class.
