The McNulty Cup is a five race series on the waters of Lake Michigan approximately 2 miles East of the Milwaukee shoreline. The competition will be conducted on a One Design race circle dedicated to the Soling Class.

1. RULES
1.1 The McNulty Cup will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), the rules of the International Soling class, except as any of these are changed by the Sailing Instructions. The prescriptions of United States Sailing will not apply.

2. ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY
2.1 The McNulty Cup eligibility requirement for competitors is membership for Skipper or Boat in their National Soling Association or the International Soling Association (ISA). Sign-up will be available at registration. All yachts must have a 2019 ISA sticker affixed in the prescribed manner.
2.2 On site registration will be available on Saturday June 15th until 10:00am. A boat will be scored only after a completed entry is received and accepted. Acceptance of a boat's entry shall be contingent upon the completion of the entry form, receipt of a certificate of insurance (proof of insurance with $300,000 of liability coverage), and receipt of the required fee.

3. ENTRY FEE & REGISTRATION
3.1 McNulty Cup entry fees are as follows:
The Entry Fee is $100 per boat.

3.2 2019 US Soling Association membership cards and stickers will also be available.

4. SCHEDULE
4.1 The Soling McNulty Cup schedule is as follows:
Saturday 8am On-site registration, 10am Skippers Meeting, 11:30am Race 1 followed by Race 2 and Race 3, 6pm Post-race party
Sunday 10am Race 4 followed by Race 5 (no warning after 2:00PM), Awards ceremony will be held as soon as reasonably possible after the last race.
4.2 The scheduled time of the warning signal for the first race on Saturday is 11:25 AM CDT, subsequent races to follow. No race will begin after 4:30 PM. The scheduled time of the warning signal for the race on Sunday is 9:55 AM CDT. No race will begin after 2:00 PM.

5. SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
5.1 The sailing instructions will be available during registration on Saturday.

6. Venue
6.1 Solings will compete on a dedicated race circle with the location to be determined by the Race Committee on the morning of each day of racing.

7. Courses
7.1 Soling course details and diagrams will be published in the McNulty Cup Sailing Instructions.

8. Penalty System
8.1 The first sentence in rule 44.1 shall be modified to read "A boat may take a One-Turn Penalty when she may have broken one or more rules of Part 2 in an incident while racing."

9. Scoring
9.1 A minimum of three races will constitute a completed regatta.

10. Prizes
10.1 Awards will be presented at MYC as soon as reasonably possible after the last race on Sunday. Yachts finishing first, second and third in the Soling Fleet as a whole will be awarded prizes.

11. Insurance
11.1 Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance with minimum coverage of $300,000.
Further Information
The Exit to Lincoln Memorial Drive from I-794 is new and exciting!
Due to recent changes to the Lincoln Memorial Drive exit from I-794, consider the following directions to proceed to Milwaukee Yacht Club with a minimal amount of difficulty:
Exit I-94 to I-794 East.
Look for exit marked "Lakefront". Prepare for a sharp turn as you descend to street level.
Exit at aforementioned "Lakefront" exit. Turn left at the lights onto Lincoln Memorial Drive
Enjoy a short cruise down Lincoln Memorial (past the Art Museum, War Memorial, and lagoon) to the traffic signal at Lafayette Avenue and Hill.
Turn right at Lafayette Avenue into a large parking lot and proceed South to MYC.
Free parking, trailer storage and hoisting provided.
