1. Rules
1.1. The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing.
1.2. The prescriptions of the Norwegian National Authority will not apply.

2. Advertising category
Boats may be required to display advertising chosen and supplied by the organizing authority

3. Eligibility and entry
3.1. The regatta is open to all yachts of the International Soling Class
3.2. Eligible boats may enter by completing the entry forms on the event website manage2sail.com no later than 2. September.
3.3. The organizing authority reserves the right to cancel the event, if at the entry deadline the number of boats is less than 5. In this case the entry fee will be refunded.

4. Fees
4.1. The entry fee is NOK 1300 per boat before 2. September.
4.2. The entry fee is NOK 1600 per boat before 7. September
4.3. The entry fee is non-refundable unless the event is cancelled

5. Schedule
5.1. Registration:
The Race Office at will be open for registration on 7. September from 07.30 to 09.30.
5.2. Measurement and Inspection:
A boat or equipment may be inspected at any time for compliance with the class rules and sailing Instructions
5.3. Dates of Racing
Saturday 7. September sailing
Sunday 8. September sailing
5.4. Number of races
Maximum 12 races is planned.
5.5. The first warning signal on Saturday will be at 10:30. First warning signal on Sunday will be at 10.00.
5.6. No warning signal after 15.00 on Sunday.
5.7. Tapas buffet and bar will be open at 18.00 on Saturday.

6. Measurement
6.1. For a yacht to be eligible to race, her valid (the original or a copy of the original) Measurement Form shall be presented at the Race Office upon request.

7. Sailing instructions
7.1. Sailing Instructions will be available at manage2sail.com and at registration.

8. Course area
8.1. The course area is located just outside of Fjærholmen.

9. The courses
9.1. A windward/leeward course will apply

10. Penalty system
10.1. The One-Turns Penalty will apply

11. Scoring
11.1. The Low Points Scoring System of RRS A4 will apply.
11.2. 12 races are scheduled of which 4 must be completed to constitute a valid championship.
11.3. a) When fewer than 5 races have been completed, a boat's series score will be the total of her race scores.
b) When 5 or more races have been completed, a boat's series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score
(c) When 8 or more races have been completed, a boat's series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her two worst score

12. Prizes
12.1. ¼ of the boats in the fleet will receive price

13. Disclaimer of liability
13.1. Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See rule 4, Decision to Race. The organizing authority will not hold any liability for material damage or personal injury, or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.

14. Insurance
14.1. Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance cover while racing of not less than NOK 2 mill.
